I pray that in this season of Lent you sense God’s presence and peace; particularly in the midst of the spread of the Coronavirus, and the concerns that this brings. Bishop Sharma Lewis of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church asked that churches NOT hold worship or group meetings earlier in the month. Presently the closing has been extended through Sunday April 19th. This will affect how we participate in the Maundy Thursday service, the Good Friday service, and Easter Sunday morning. Though we are not able to worship together, we will be worshiping through on-line worship services.
With great appreciation to our “techies,” we were able to livestream worship at 8:30am on the 22nd of March. We are hoping to offer it to a wider audience this next Sunday. STAY TUNED!
Also, in this time when we may not be physically together, we still need your financial support and we are setting up an on-line giving option.
If you have concerns or questions, please call 703-368-0276 and leave a message or send an-e-mail to [email protected] We will get back to you!
The safety, health, and well-being of our congregants are foremost in our minds and we pray that you and your family are safe and well.
